Who can see your case
Only you, and the people you invite. No one at Legal Friendly can open your case unless you turn on a 24-hour support switch yourself, and every page we open under it lands in your activity record, where you can see exactly what we looked at.
Your originals are protected
Every file you add is fingerprinted (SHA-256) the moment it arrives, and that fingerprint is written permanently into your activity record. If a file is ever questioned, you can prove what you uploaded, byte for byte.
Sign-in protections
One-time codes on new devices, a required authenticator app for law-firm accounts (optional for parents), lockout after repeated failed sign-ins, inactivity sign-out, server-side permission checks on every file request, and timing-safe handling of codes and tokens.
What we never do
AI helpers are off unless you turn them on, and Legal Friendly never sells your data.
Download or delete everything
Your case is yours. You can download every file and record at any time, and deleting your account removes your case data after a 7-day change-your-mind window.
Report a security problem
Email info@legalfriendly.com and tell us what happened. If you believe your account was opened by someone else, sign in and use "Sign out other devices" first.
