About Legal Friendly

Legal Friendly was built by a parent who spent more than 400 hours preparing for his own family court case. It’s meant to be the friend he wished he’d had: someone who keeps track of everything, tells you the truth, and points to real help when you need it. It isn’t a lawyer, and it will always say so.

Legal Friendly is a secure, plain-language legal companion that helps people and law firms gather, preserve, and explain the facts of a court case. Instead of scattered folders and sticky notes, it gives every case one calm workspace: a Court File with version-tracked documents, timelines that tell the story day by day, plain-language explanations of legal terms, and evidence summaries that connect each claim to the documents that support or weaken it.

It is built for two kinds of people. Individuals — including parents in custody matters, tenants, employees, and consumers — can prepare with or without a lawyer, follow guided next steps tailored to their state and practice area, and hand a complete, attorney-ready package to new counsel when representation changes. Law firms use it as a client workspace: organized intake, shared case folders with role-based permissions, secure messaging, case-health analytics, and polished close-out exports.

The team behind Legal Friendly builds it around one belief: you should never lose a case because your evidence was disorganized. The team is independent, and every feature and guidance point is labelled plainly, so you always know what is verified, what is a suggestion, and what is not legal advice.
