Testing preview draft, under attorney review. Last updated: October 22, 2026. Legal Friendly LLC (in formation) ("Legal Friendly", "we", "us") runs legalfriendly.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, who can see it, and the choices you have. Questions: info@legalfriendly.com. 1. What we collect. - Account details: your name, email, and login and security-code records. - Case content you choose to add: files, messages, photos, recordings, notes, dates, timelines, drafts, where each file came from, and records you list as "kept elsewhere" (for those we store only the description you type, not the document). - Sharing details: who you invite, their access level, and what you share outside the case and with whom. - Usage and device information needed to run and secure the service, such as log-in times, browser type and error reports. - Billing records from our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number. 2. Sensitive information. Family and other personal cases often include sensitive records: information about children, school, health or counseling records, protective orders, and messages with your attorney. You decide what to add. We use sensitive information only to provide the service you asked for. We never sell it, never use it for advertising, and never use it to build a profile of you. Help and wellbeing settings are kept separate from your case and are never shown to attorneys or firms. If you'd rather not upload a sensitive document, you can list it as "kept elsewhere" instead. 3. How we use information. To store, organize and protect your files; keep originals unchanged and fingerprinted; build timelines; send the reminders and notices you turn on or that the service needs (like security codes and deletion notices); create the downloads, packets and summaries you ask for; keep the service secure; and answer your questions. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. 4. AI features. Some features (for example "Tidy my wording", "Check before sending" and Records check) send the content involved to an AI service provider to return a result to you. Providers process it only to deliver that feature. AI helpers are off unless you turn them on, and we never sell your data. 5. Who can see your case. - Only you, and the people you invite, at the access level you choose. You can change or end access at any time, and it takes effect immediately. - If a law firm invites you, or you share your case with a firm, the attorneys and staff that firm has given access can see what you share with them. Private notes stay private until you choose to share them. - When you share outside the case (for example with a caseworker, guardian ad litem or school), the recipient sees only the files you choose, and you can revoke a link at any time. "What I've shared" keeps a record. - Our team does not look at your case content unless you ask for help and allow it, or it is needed to keep the service secure or to follow the law. 6. Who helps us run Legal Friendly. We rely on trusted providers, each under a data processing agreement with us or with our platform: Base44, our hosting and app platform, which provides hosting, storage, email delivery and, when AI helpers are turned on, AI processing through the AI providers Base44 uses — Base44's AI service providers page lists them (https://docs.base44.com/Community-and-support/ai-service-providers); our payment processor for billing; and similar providers as the service grows. They may use information only to provide their service to us. 7. Legal requests. We share information when the law requires it, such as a valid subpoena or court order. Unless the law forbids it, we will tell you before we respond so you have a chance to object. 8. Security. Files are stored privately; access is controlled by account and case permissions and a security code for sensitive actions; and actions on a case are logged. No system is perfectly secure. Legal Friendly is not a healthcare provider, and we do not claim HIPAA compliance. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you without unreasonable delay and as the law requires. 9. Your safety. If someone else may be able to get into your phone, email or accounts, they may see this site or its emails. Use a device and email only you control. The Quick Exit button leaves the site immediately. 10. How long we keep information. - While your account is active, we keep your case until you delete it. - If you turn off auto-renew, you keep full access until the end of the period you've paid for. If a payment fails, you keep full access for 15 days. - After access ends, your case stays saved and read-only for 365 days so you can download it. We email you 90, 30 and 7 days before anything is deleted. - You can download everything, or delete your account and case, at any time. - We keep a record of the notices you accepted (which version and when) even after your account is deleted, so there's a record of what was agreed. 11. Your rights and choices. You can see, correct, download or delete your information in the app or by emailing info@legalfriendly.com. We answer within 45 days. If we can't do what you asked, we'll explain why, and you can appeal by replying to that email; we'll answer the appeal within 45 days. Wherever you live, we honor these rights, and we never treat you differently for using them. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as a request not to sell or share your information (we don't do either anyway). 12. Health information notice. Some states, such as Washington, give people extra rights over health-related information. Health or counseling records you upload are used only to provide the service, are never sold, and are shared only with the people you choose. You can ask us to delete them at any time. 13. Children. Legal Friendly is for adults 18 and older. Parents and guardians may add records about their children as part of their own case. We do not knowingly collect information from children. 14. Cookies. We use only the cookies and storage needed to sign you in, remember your settings and keep the service secure. We don't use advertising cookies. 15. Changes. If we change this policy, we'll post the new version, update the date, and ask you to review it the next time you sign in. 16. Contact. Legal Friendly LLC (in formation), info@legalfriendly.com.
